About Kingwood Christian School
KCS stands for Kingwood Christian School!
We are a Christian school serving the greater Shelby County Alabama area.
Our goal is to help our students move forward to become all that God has for them. This includes:

KCS is fully accredited by The Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) and The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
We have a dedicated team of highly trained faculty led by an experienced administration group. In addition we have employees in all areas of responsibility who are committed to excellence.
We were founded in 1979 as a ministry of Kingwood Church and KCS has developed into one of the strongest and largest private schools in Central Alabama. We offer Kindergarten through 12th grade in a Christ centered environment. Our excellent college prep educational program includes both weekly chapels and Bible classes.
